Toys and Games Books

It is never too early to begin to share books with your baby and this book,Toys, is a perfect place to start. Babies need books without words, that have bright colours and good contrast, simple shape designs, and backgrounds that avoid clutter. This book meets these criteria perfectly with the added attraction of sparkle. I give this book to every new baby I know!

For all those boys out there who have those spare $$$$ and want to a wishlist that will express their style and class.... this is the book for you chaps. Or for those who need inspiration to go out and earn the $$$ to buy some insane toys this is the most comprehensive, well catalogued and documented.... must have. One for the trophy room itself!!!

I purchase iron-on transfer books for the Comfort Blanket Ministry of St. Ferdinand Church. It is a blessing that such books are still available - we use these iron-ons for painting and marker coloring which ultimately become squares in our ministry's beautiful blankets. Keep selling these kinds of books, we'll keep buying them!

The graphics and artistry is astonishing. I used these to create a bulletin board at school and everyone LOVED it!

Upon opening this guide, Rupp demonstrates immediately why it is so essential to have this book in your library. From the Table of Contents page, all the way through to the Epilogue, Rupp presents the reader with 412 of the clearest, most colorful photos of Barbie doll accessories made from 1961-1995. With each picture, a caption is provided desribing these treasures with dates they were copyrighted, and other interesting tidbits that some of us have forgotten (i.e. Sear's exclusive, working escalators, even product I.D. numbers). Cases, houses, paper dolls, and colognes are covered. There's enough here to provide any child or fan of the 70's and 80's with lots of opportunities to reminisce and learn. Rupp has done a fantastic job. One look through this book will have you exclaiming, "Wow! I had that!" An excellent source of entertainment and education.

My daughter is 3 years old and she loves to read. She enjoys learning about new things like dinosaurs so she chose this book when we went to the store. The colors are bright, the words are large, it's a "who's that?" and "what's that sound?" kind of book which she also enjoys. It tells you how to pronounce the words: Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, Pterodactyl, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. It's a simple book, but with big dinosaurs words and she enjoys reading the sounds then turning the page to see who's making that sound. I love it when she reads the book and pretends to be each of the dinosaurs.

TURBOTRAIN:A JOURNEY isn't an illustrated history of the turbotrain, more like a biography written by someone who was there. And it actually has-because Jason Shron has had a love affair with the Turbotrain since he was 2, and has written a masterpiece--a book that came from the heart. A must have for every railfan.

This book is very involved - mazes, a cool decoder which you place over different areas on each page. Turtle Quest will keep an older child occupied for a few hours, and will provide a lot of one-on-one time with parent and younger child. I suspect that the book reviewer, in saying that the book was confusing, couldn't figure out the puzzle on the pyramid page - my six year old and I weren't the least confused. We WERE very challenged! WE figured it out. And we had a lot of fun.

This book is a great hands-on teaching tool. For anyone interested in snakes it gives information in touchable 3-D besides pictures and explanations. The book was in excellent condition and a real bargain.

This book shows what every organ in a crocodiles body funtions as and shows brillant pictures and states many facts about crocodiles. This book is like no other and is worth every penny!!
