Truly excellent resource. I just switched grade levels and now teach 4-6 reading and writing. Fantastic, unique ideas and activities. Very helpful to building my curriculum. I would recommend as easy to read and implement resource.

I purchased this kit to make a Christmas present. I coordinated the kids while they wrote and illustrated a story for Grandpa and Grandma. I paid extra for rush processing and premium shipping. The finished book arrived in about three weeks (not bad for December).

The Grandparents loved their book. And, the kids really enjoyed telling them all about the writing process. The entire experience was very enjoyable.

I bought the "Christian Edition" because it was cheaper. It's basically the same as the regular version, with an added sheet of paper listing some Bible stories as plot ideas. BTW, the kids didn't end up writing a Bible story. Instead they opted to create their own tale from scratch.

I would recommend this product very highly. The quality is pretty good (considering the price). The concept is what impressed me most. It's a great idea that really hits the target.

This book will please young readers. They get to read a great book and do a fun puzzle at the same time. Each book in the series has a different reading emphasis that helps children as they learn to real. My nephew loves his books.

This clever picture book consists of old-fashioned black and white line drawings over which the reader moves an acetate screen (which is included with the book in a separate pocket). Doing so makes the images, amazingly, seem to come alive: water flows, fire burns, wheels turn, and so forth - the images are fascinating! The directions and speeds in which the reader moves the screen determine how the image appears to move - i.e. the direction/speed of the flowing water, burning flames, turning wheels, etc. This book is a unique visual delight for children.

I am extremely pleased with this book. Of all the math-centers books I have, I keep coming back to this one. (As well as the K-1 version, which I also highly recommend.) The centers are easy to set up and don't take any weird, hard-to-find materials. Also, they are not very complicated so my students understand how to do them after me showing them just once. The centers are also really relevant-- relating perfectly to the standards I teach. The students enjoy the hands-on math action and I see how much it helps the students get a deeper understanding. I highly recommend this book!

This book about the Civil War ironclads is one of my favorites--good ship to ship combat story---good pictures and I read it as soon as I got it. It is one of my favorites!!!

The book begins with a day-by-day list of all the celebrations throughout the month (not only the famous ones but others as well...do you know when oil was discovered in Texas?), and then a reproducible calendar for the classroom with clip art of symbols to place on the calendar.
