What sets this model apart from other Foxtails being marketed by Klutz is the whistling sound it makes as it whizzes through the air. That's fine, but the sound effects are neither so cool nor so different as to make much difference for the game itself. Whatever the model, playing with a Foxtail is loads of fun! My 8-year-old and I just spent an hour playing with it at the playground, and although both he and I are exhausted, we are looking forward to going out again later. The Foxtail is challenging to catch, but throwing it well is easier for young arms than a Frisbee or a baseball. I heartily recommend it.

My three-year-old loves his foxtails, and so do all the other kids (and adults!) on the street!

My daugther used to find it hard to go back to math in the fall. She forgot many of the basics that she learned and so has a slow start that sets her back all year. We have been using this series of books as a warm-up for school for the last 3 years and find them to be perfect. They are the little practice that she needs to remember what she knew when she finished school in the spring.

This is a favorite toy at our house. My 3 year old spends a lot of time stacking and unstacking these pegs.

Pegs are hard durable plastic, and the foam pad that it comes with is very sturdy and will last for a long time, even with as much use as it gets on a daily basis.

It would be worth considering the purchase of additional pegs though as it seems they can get lost pretty easily.

Our 8-year-old read about the pentominoes in a book and was real curios. As every single pentomino is shaped out of 5 squares of the same size, you can do a lot of math questions with them. It's exiting to do the puzzles with the cards as well or simply develop your own shapes. If the shipping and handling would be at least a little cheaper, they would be just perfect....

Cadwallon is a very good book describing a free city of mercenaries and theives set in the World of Rackham's Confrontation games.An excellent roleplaying companion which makes you want to dive right into the world and seek out adventure. I use to GM D&D and AD&D games many years ago and this book by Rackham is better than any production TSR put out and that is saying alot because the TSR productions were very good.

As a miniaturest I realy recomending this book.
There are lot of ideas with very clear instuctions, for the beginners
and for those who has experience.

you will learn lot of new techniques.

Another terrific Schiffer book. Enough different dollhouses from previous books to make it interesting and educational. Wonderful photos.

This book is excellent and like a kumon class work. Repeatative so the child gets enough exercise.

The body trivia questions appear on the left side of the page, while the answers appear on the right hand side of the page. A convenient "MindBender Answer Flap" covers the answers so the kids can discuss the questions without the answers visible. The book indeed, is a Trivia Adventure!
