This Eyeball Animation Drawing Book: People Edition is a barrel of fun! Who knew my eleven year old daughter could draw so well if she didn't have to worry about drawing eyes?? And the fact that the eyeballs roll up just enough for that'whatevah' look when you hold the book upright just adds to the fun. When the book is laying flat, the eyes are looking straight ahead. It has plenty of blank pages for drawing, and between the pages, attached to the spiral is a two inch strip with three faces you could draw if you didn't have one in mind. Our whole family loves this book. I'd recommend it to anyone for any age-we got one for my older daughter's twenty-two year old boyfriend, and he loves it, too!

This is an excellent treatment of the combat history and performance of the F4 Phantom vs. MiG 21 during the Vietnam War. Peter Davies packs in a lot of info in 77 pages of text, and the colored illustrations / battle scene illustrations by Jim Laurier, Tom Tullis, & Gareth Hector are excellent.

The book is very simple to follow and well-organized:

Peter Davies concludes that a well-coordinated command and control operations were vital to the effectiveness of the combat performance for both sides (along with the training & experience of the combat pilots).

Although brief, this book offered one of the best comprehensive overviews of the combat engagements of the F4 and MiG 21. Highly recommended!!

The Fairytale Mix-Up is a fun and humorous book! The clever text plays on kids existing knowledge of fairytales, letting the kids immediately enjoy the humor of mixing up fairytale characters and things they woud say. The illustrations and pop-ups are fun, colorful and provide lots of instant laughs.

We've had this game for about six months. Suddenly my son (now just over four) has discovered it and can't get enough of it. It's helping him with his numbers (put the animals on the even numbers, put the animals on backwards, how many pices do you have now?). It's a nice, fairly quiet, way to spend family time in the evening before bedtime.

This was my first book that got me started with fast food toy collecting. Its got hundreds of full-color pictures of many of the entire series of fast food collectibles from all the major restaurants, as well as plush toys, a foreign toy section, and index. It comes complete with price ranges, manufacturer markings, restaurant, name, and year (from the late 70s to some of 1996) as well as a spot to annotate the toys you own. Great resources for the elementary teacher!

I love it. It's pretty detailed for being Legos. My g/f and I put this together over about 3 nights. It was very fun. I move the cars and people around daily to see if she will notice. I have caught her a few times racing the cars around and doing short pit stops with them.

My son is 2 years old and LOVES this book! We borrowed it from the library and the first time I read it he was cracking up. This is actually unusual because normally he has to read something a few times before getting interested in it. We've been reading it every day, sometimes several times. I have fun reading and singing and he has fun listening. I'll definitely be buying this book to add to our permanent collection. I have a feeling it's going to be a favorite for years. A lot of fun!!
