This is the ultimate book must have for all cabbage patch collectors. It gives pictures, commentary, and is an overall sum up for collectors and people wishing to know more about cabbage patch kids. Thank goodness collectors have this resource!

my daughter who is 17 was very surprised on christmas morning. She loves David Hasselhoff and Knight Rider. The car was great!

The K.A.R.R. is supposed to be a collectors item ... but my 11 year old son plays with his and he loves it! It's not an educational toy obviously, and would last for ever if I could convince him to leave it on the shelf. I'm sure he will break it eventually but it is metal, so is tough. If you are looking for a model of K.A.R.R. go for this one. I may even buy another one.

This book is just adorable. My kids love the eye spy game and this book describes one of the objects. Then kids have to guess which one. It teaches them colors, as each page is full of objects in each color. The eye shaped window is a cute touch as well.

Gives toddlers a bright invitation to learn colors by looking at familiar objects. Some pictures are discoverd by clues in the text and many through visual exploration of brightly colored pictures. Has an eye shaped peep hole in encouraging exploration. Great for children 18+ months. My Son LOVES His book.

There are 32 pages of great photos of everything from ducks to sheep to farming machines in this very nice book for young children. The font on every page is large and the text will keep young readers interested. There are two to four sentences for each animal and once in a while a question is thrown in for fun, e.g., "How many eggs can you see?" The photos are very detailed and kids should have a good time with the pictures whether they can read themselves or are being read to.

My one year old daughter has loved this book since she was a young baby. She loves looking at the realistic pictures of animals while I make the appropriate animal noises. It's durable, bright colored, and still a favorite.

Some number of months ago, I gave my neighbor's kid some gliders preprinted by NASA as a PR gift (Got them at Oshkosh). It wasn't long before he was stopping me on the way back from work to ask if I had anymore planes! This title fit the bill (more planes). It was in color and precisely precut for little hands. I almost didn't gift it!

I happened across this book in a bookstore and could not resist buying it.

To date, I have made the first three airplanes in the book. I'm working on the fourth now. The first few models are rather simplistic to get new people accustomed to paper modeling. The later models are amazing. The curves of the aircraft are to scale and very impressive.

The book is also a great way to learn how to design your own paper model airplanes to fly. I've made a space shuttle using the techniques learned in this book and it looks/flies great!

I should mention that this is not a typical 'paper airplane' book. You do not simply take a sheet of paper and fold it in various ways then fly it. You have to cut out numerous pieces, form them to get the proper curves, glue them (carefully, so that the paper doesn't warp when it's drying), and THEN fly them. Even though that may sound challenging, the first few airplanes are enough to learn the skills necessary for the later (and more challenging) airplanes. And...THE PLANES FLY GREAT when built with patience and care. Mine have survived some great crashes into walls and radiators since I have a habit of launching them indoors (all the planes have a hook for launching via rubber bands).

There are plenty of books about movie collectibles, and some about animal collectibles; but this is the only book that combines the two. It's an excellent resource, and even if you don't plan of collecting the items shown it is fascinting to see all the little promo items put out over the years. This book would make a really unique gift for animal lovers and movie lovers.

My 3 year old received this book from his Godmother for Christmas. It is now March and we still have to read it daily. It's little activities on each page keep him so involved, he just loves it! A great gift!!

This is a great Christmas adventure. It tells the true story of Christmas in a way that gets the kids involved and looking forward to each new page. Truly one of our family's favorite Christmas books. Will be a part of our Christmas Eves for many years to come.

This literature guide is EXCELLENT!! It is very thorough and easy to follow. GREAT time-saver for busy teachers!!

Most literature guides are geared more for the elementary classroom. This guide is ideal for most middle schoolers. I like that there are focuses on literature elements and plot structure. I wish there were more guides like this for YA novels appropriate for middle-schoolers.

Looking for an arts and crafts book that's easy to do for young children? Are you crafts-challenged like me? Is it impossible to find chenille pipe-cleaners and other craft goodies where you live? Then this book is for you! My 6 year old adores the little works of art she can do with her hand prints. She gets practice using sizers, placing designs in an order that makes sense, and has a great time decorating the construction paper that she's cut out and pasted.

The book is designed for teachers. They routinely use templates to cut out designs that the students then put together to make clever "artwork'. I can see why. It's really easy and fun.

This book isn't deep. Your child will not be creating massively creative works of art. But is you need something fun and easy that a 4 to 7 year old can do practically by themselves, you've just found it.

Anthony Flores has created a delightful collection of craft activities for young children. The book is arranged so that each month there is a variety of creative designs using the child's handprints. I would encourage anyone who works with children between the ages of 2-10 to purchase this book.
